Just means they will have to pay a bit more to borrow. A bit like the consumer with not a top notch rating.0

Could it be time to withdraw all my billions lol
I'm surprised it took them so long given the current state of Spain's economy and there's more to come as the effects of the South American nationalisations bite into their results. Santander was one of 16 banks to be downgraded but the part-nationalised Bankia was left untouched - for now!
