Credit card Cashback on UK Border Application Fees

I've been eying up the 5% capital one credit card for a few large purchases in the months of July and August. Car Insurance is one of them.
I have to fill in a naturalisation form for my OH from the UKBA and their fees are extravagant. The one we have to fill in costs about £900 for an application fee.
I believe you can pay by credit card by filling in the details on the application. I don't believe it is online, but a manual process. Needless to say 5% of £900 is £45 which is quite a nice reward.
Has anyone else done this or can they offer any advice?
Best Regards,

If this refers to the fee (£851) then there seems to be no reason why you couldn't do what you suggest. There's no mention of an extra charge for using a CC.Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

Its only cash withdraws, foreign currency (which is a cash withdrawal anyway) and balance transfers that you dont receive cashback for so yes you would.0
