My boyfriend has a cheque payable to him sent as a refund from royal mail. The bank is Natwest. He has an account with Thinkbanking. We went into the local Natwest branch today and the lady at the counter said he needs a paying in slip and that the cheque has to be paid into an account, it can't be cashed. My question is where can he find this paying in slip? I don't think he has it, would it be in his cheque book?. Thanks in advance for any reply

"If you want to pay cash directly into your thinkbanking account, simply head into any Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) or Natwest branch with your paying in book.
You can a pay a cheque into your account in the same way you would pay cash into your account. Simply take your paying in book to an RBS or NatWest branch. The funds will be available up to eight business days later.
You can also post us a cheque to be paid into your account:
