Freecorder for Mac / iPad

Hi,

Does anyone know of a product (free or cheap) that does the same as Freecorder but will work on a Mac (without Parallel), or better still an App for an iPad that will do the same.

Lifes so much easier if people actually say what they want to achieve rather than just saying "I want something like this uncommon piece of software".

If you are talking about what it's website seems to go on about mainly in saving youtube videos then its not necessary. Safari can download the flash file for you and VLC will play flv files natively or Handbrake can convert them to mp4 if you want to play them on non-flash devices

I want to make a MP3 recording of the songs my nephews band post on You Tube and Facebook, so I can play them on my iPad.

When I had a Laptop I used Freecorder to make a MP3 copy, but this won't work on my new Mac. So I'm looking for a way of of doing this on my Mac or directly with my iPad.

As InsideIns said use handbrake to format it for your ipad http://handbrake.fr/

Go to Macupdate.com http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/37714/youtube-to-mp3
