15 quid sun holidays

hi folks, ive sent my booking form in for a sun holiday, its the first time ive ever done this sun holiday thing so just want to ask a few things: a) they are meant to email you when they have processed your form but how long does this roughly take and b)has anyone heard from them sooner than the confirmation date? i believe we should find out before the 30th may if we have a booking but has anyone heard back already? many thanks ps, ive tried to book dates during summer hols but believe one of the dates ive asked for falls on last week of term (the week before the schools break up) and knowing my luck, we will get that week lol so the sooner i find out the better really so i can apply to take the kids out of school a week early.
