I have been looking for a while to see if it would be possible to book the following:
3 Days Vegas
4 Days New York
7 Night Cruise from New York
Anyone any ideas who would be best to book this through?!?!

Vegas is a long way to go for 3 days, and you won't even scratch the surface in that time! My advice is to ditch the cruise and split the time between Vegas, New York and maybe another city in between ... Chicago?0

As above its not feasable IMO you would be to jet lagged to enjoy Vegas in 3 days and then would suffer again with the time difference between NY and Vegas, split the 2 cities between the fortnight...longer in Vegas IMO0

I thought pretty much the same as the above...have you even looked at a map of America?! I think you grossly underestimate the distance you would need to cover and how you would cope with the ensuing jet lag.
Personally I would skip Vegas and just stick with the NY+cruise idea. Another great idea (which I did with my husband in February) is a trip covering NY and Washington DC0 -
I wouldn't skip Vegas! Having been to Vegas and NYC 3+ times each, NYC is the one I wouldn't bother returning to (and I didn't want to visit Vegas in the first place because I'm not a gambler I thought it would be tacky!)
Last year I did a trip to Florida, then a Caribbean cruise on Allure then to Miami and that was fantastic (Miami is a must see IMO)
This year in Feb I did Vegas, Hawaii then LA which was also fab.
We always use the same London branch of Flight Centre for flights and hotels - probably not the MSE way to do it but they are very helpful for these sorts of DYI travelling around type trips. They also offer cruises too but I think we did the cruise bit direct last year - my friend arranged that part!0 -
I was the same about Vegas as I'm not a gambler. i was told I'd either love or hate it - and I loved it! I love NYC as well though. V jealous of your Vegas, Hawaii, LA trip.
Re the original question, I find I don't suffer much when flyng east to wet - it's flying the other way that throws me. I would suggest NYC first, then Vegas and then you can get all sort of cruises from LA down the West Coast into Mexico etc. So it will only be your return flight which will be west - east and, if you're like me, suffer most from but you'll be back home rather than it affecting you whilst you're away.0 -
You're basically flying the same distance again from NYC to Las Vegas as you've flown from London to New York. If you really want to do both then split the timezones . Fly London NYC -have a few days in NYC-fly to Vegas -then after Vegas fly to either Los Angeles (a mere hop) and pick up a Mexican cruise and fly back from LA to London OR to one of the Eastern ports (wouldn't need to be NYC ) Miami, Galveston, wherever and cruise the Bahamas or Caribbean from there before flying home.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Youd spend day1 of Vegas mainly just travelling there and trying to stay awake past 5pm. Youd then have 2 days - which is barely anything.
Day 4 would then be taken up flying to NYC.
Day 5,6 and 7 in NYC - which is ok but you could do with 2-3 more really. Then youd be off again for a cruise?
You need to do one coast or the other!0 -
Thanks will have a look into this
