bought some asda chosen by you square wraps last week went to make a wrap today to find them mouldy as owt on the plastic bag says best before 04/04/2013 in big bold letters (wraps do tend to have long dates}yet on the asda stick on label it says best before 09/05/2012 in very small writing and unclear
no wonder they were mouldy any one know why the different best before dates and what i can do about it

Hi I don't know the difference between the dates but if I was you I'd take them back to the store for a full refund.
I bought a loaf of bread in Asda before christmas and opened it up to find it mouldy it was 3 days past its date but I had bought it that day took it back and they apologised a lot and refunded me and exchanged it0 -
Take them back for a refund,0

were the wraps meant to be sold frozen or gas flushed? as that would have a years life.
while 09/05/12 would indicate a fresh use by date.
not sure if they sell the wrap either fresh or frozen.0 -
Take them back, ask for a full refund and a replacement or a gift card to cover your costs. If that gets you no where get the refund and then write and complain to their Head Office in Leeds. If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550

The date could be right x all it takes is for a tiny pin hole in the packaging for the air to get in and they will go mouldy x take them back and they should give you a full refund x0

They'll likely swap them on the spot for you
Dates contradicting one another is clearly stupid, there isn't a leg to stand on.0 -
moos Mummy: If they sold u bread that was out of date, they can get a massive fine! So gross.
Take it back, they should sort it under the refund & replace policy.0 -
