Hi,
I am stuck again, I am trying to fill in a form but I cannot write any thing in the boxes, just the Hand appears and moves. I used to be able to do this, not sure what happened, any help most appreciated.

It is a local council, Parking permit form, not sure 'pdf' or accrobat.

Ahh, ok, then it isnt a PDF form but instead a form that happens to have been saved in PDF format.
To be able to type onto it you will need to install a PDF editing application otherwise you will have to print it and fill it in by hand.0 -
Some options
You could print it, fill it in then scan it in and send it
Or use this to convert it to word to fill in

Then use DoPDF to convert it back from Word
