Who to talk to to get my current account linked to my Credit Report?

While on the phone to Credit Expert, they expressed suprise that my current account wasn't linked to my credit report, and said I'd need to ask my bank to rectify this. Having spoken to my bank, they are saying that Credit Expert need to do the linking. Who's right? There isn't a burning reason that it should be on there, there are no loans, credit or overdraft (other than standard £200) on it, but having been turned down for a store card on the basis that they couldn't verify my address, I hope it would help solidify my credit profile!
