Phone insurance - Cheapest way?

I'm 18 and recently got my first contract with T-Mobile from the Carphone Warehouse. I'm with Natwest. What's the cheapest way for me to insure my phone?

Be warned of choosing the cheapest way. I did some research and moneysavingexpert recommended CUSC foneguard. So I merrily insured my phone with them only for about £6 a month. Then my phone was stolen from my bag which was on me at the time and they have rejected my claim, apparently you need to be held at gun point or similar force. Goodbye beautiful new HTC, hello old crappy phone...
I am appealing, but not hopeful!!0 -
unless you get free insurance with your bank account etc then the cheapest way is to put £10 into a savings account every month.
Many phone insurances are very poor, often on an indemnity basis (so you get the secondhand value or a reconditioned phone not a new one) and frequently with a £50-100 excess (depending if a smart phone or not etc)
From an insurers perspective you'd be amazed at how when the latest phone is released how you get a 500% increase in claims from people dropping their phone in the toilet/ down the stairs etc0
