Need help choosing a Touchscreen PC

My Mum has offered to buy me a computer. I have now decided to go back to the desktop instead of a laptop, as I seem to wear these out after about 3years having previously had a Dell Inspiron and a Sony Vaio. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab which I use for browsing and DH has a spare laptop should I need/want anything more portable.
I am looking for a decent size touchscreen (approx 20") The main use would be surfing the internet, storing music, photo's.
I haven't been given a budget , I don't want an Imac, but I reckon on no more than about £800.
I have looked at various reviews but i'm not very PC literate and not sure what i'm looking for.
Thanks in advance.
Kelly

Please don't touch anything from Sony. I toojk one of these apart whilst fixing a friends desktop and found NEC components inside. The mother board looked like an NEC as well. Bad, bad, bad...0

to be honest most people do not see the use of a touch screen desktop pc, mainly because the most natural position for working on a PC will be sitting back, when you are sitting back its not easy or natural to learn forward to touch the screen so you end up using the normal mouse and keyboard like a normal PC. therefore having wasted a large amount of money on a feature you dont use.
or is there any specfic reason why you want a touch screen system?Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -

Just fancied one, I suppose it is because I use a Samsung Tab & Samsung Galaxy 2 so I am just used to touchscreen and thought it would be a nice extra to have, but not essential.Born and bred in Manchester (proud of it)
