If I switch can I stay with BG homecare
Largely as a result of the same inertia* that has stopped me getting round to switching suppliers, I've still got home serve from BG. If I switch suppliers, can I still stay in home care (at least until the end of the current contract?).
Thanks,
Phil

Yes.
I switched years ago from BG and have homecare and when they started with nectar points I signed up for nectar points as well.0 -
Homeserve is nothing to do with British Gas.That gum you like is coming back in style.0

My mum had BG Homecare too and I had no problem changing her to the EDF 2014 deal for her G and E whilst keeping the BG Homecare.
I also have the BG Homecare Plan yet have been with SP for the last year . BG contacted me this week saying they were offering a special gas and electric deal for their Homecare customers .They will credit my account with £100 worth of gas at the beginning and end of this coming year if I change back to them plus theres a total of £65 discount for DD and Duel fuel. Its variable, so a risk of banging the price up after a month or so.
Im not counting the second £100 as its obviously only a gas credit, and Id have to stay with them beyond the year,to use it , so I need to look at the standard kwh prices to see if with just the first £100 perk, its a good deal. Might be worth your while asking about it .0 -
I just got a letter asking me to either phone or book online my yearly service from BG. (my post comes very late in the day and I don't read it till late evening).
I did it online and got 200 nectar points.0 -

Are you talking about BG Homecare, or Homeserve? As penryhn points out , they're completely separate (rival) companies. You don't need to be a BG customer to use either.
But why not save even more money and ditch both?No free lunch, and no free laptop
