I ordered a Samsung Tab 2 by phone and was told they had just come into the warehouse. Haha liar. I didn't receive any email confirming the sale so I phoned up today to enquire and was told that in fact they were not in stock yet! So basically I was deliberately tricked into making a preorder. I asked for a refund and then was told it can take up to 8 working days! So blocking me from ordering elsewhere as I'm not about to extract another £200. I've never been told that before. A recent refund from Ebuyer went through the next day. I made a complaint. Buyer beware! Imagine if these companies didn't have "regulations" which they say is stopping them from doing more business.

I've had exactly the same experience and told them to cancel and lift the hold on the credit card funds. I happened to check card account a week later and found they had gone ahead and done a full charge to the card. When I called to complain, they had the cheek to say I had a ccredit on my account with them! I said I didn't have an account and they had done an unauthorised transaction. I was told too about the 8 days but she said she would contact me by tomorrow to see if refund has gone through. It hadn't by this morning.
They are cheating ba***rds!0 -
Sounds like another company going downhill. Thanks for that I'm about to fill in the complaint form and I'll double check tomorrow - I still have not received an email confirmation of anything despite requesting one. It's a kind of fraud taking money from my account and holding on to it. I know I'll get it back but that's not the point.0

And the lying cheating ba**rds have still not refunded me nor contacted me like they promised (see post 2).0

Yes these scumbags are crooks. They have done the same to me - deducted money from my account even before they had the item in stock. It was listed as "DIRECT INBOUND" on my account - maybe they think we won't notice.
I did fill in a complaint form and got a reply stating that the order had indeed been cancelled. But they had of course got my money. It says I have to wait up to 7 days.
Now I will complain to the Financial Services Watchdog.0
