Give me the Celebrity Millennium Class ship any day.
The Solstice has about 15% more deck space with 50% more passengers. When sailing in warm climates the decks are too crowded with very little shaded areas. Their Promenade decks are too narrow for loungers having chairs instead - too many compromises for more bumps on seats.
The trend over the last 5 years or so has been to build taller ships (more Cabin Decks) without much thought to increasing deck space, leading to overcrowding on sea days - no fun at all.
Give me a New Celebrity Millennium or RCCL Brilliance of the Seas or HAL Noordam any day. Same size of ship with 1000 less passengers.0
