    yep it's chard - it goes less mushy than spinach and is lovely - can be used instead of cabbage or spinach depending on the texture you need. Bacially anything green and leafy like that and kale and spring greens or cabbage can be used in a similar way but kale and chard are far nicer.

    Yes it's chard!!!! Strip out the centre stem and cook it seperately first as it takes a little longer than the leaves. I usually steam the pieces of stem, and then throw on the chopped leaves for a couple of minutes right at the end.
