I personally would of thought these veg box companies would put a list of what veg is actually in the box, this is one of the many reasons why I wouldn`t buy one.
Surely it wouldn`t take too much of their time to run up a list of veg and slip it in the box like an invoice.
OP I`m really sorry I cant help you identify the leaves but they do look very nice and dark green.Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0 -
Could the dark green leaf be Pak Choi? Use it in chinese type stir-fries. The other one looks a little like chicory, never used this myself but have seen it in recipes (bitter taste) perhaps google for recipe.0

I think it is all Swiss chard. http://www.humeseeds.com/swschrdw.htm0

To put my two pence in, to me it looks like silverbeet.
we have it back home in Oz but I do not recall seeing it here.
Type of a spinach I think.0 -
Looks like Swiss Chard to me, too!
It's growing in my garden, you can get it with red/yellow/orange stems as well, quite decorative really.
Use for stir fry or the leaves like spinach. Very small young leaves can be eaten like salad - but personally I found them rather tough to eat raw.0 -
I'd go for Swiss Chard too. According to Wikipedia it is also known as silverbeet0

I think it's swiss chard too - my dad grows it and sometimes it was taller than me!:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0

I vote for Swiss Chard, too! Use in stir fries, or add to minestrone soup. Please don't ask the veg box co. for a list - I'm looking forward to the friday quiz, now.
Can we see how the daffs turned out?
