BIN v short auction?

I'm thinking of putting some time sensitive items on fleabay tomorrow. Would BIN or short auction (3 days) be better? TBH, I'd rather send any sold items in one go, but would BIN increase the chances of sales?
Not sure if there's still the 3 day aution option, it's such a long time since I've sold on ebay.

Yes there is the 3 day auction option. I sell lots on ebay and have found that it is so much easier selling via auction format. You can time all of your items to finish together and cut down on trips to the post office.

I have found that one of the best times for selling items are Thursday evenings, must just be a busy time but I always time my items to this now. Plus, if you state on your listing that your item will be posted within 2 days of cleared payment, you give yourself until Monday to do the dreaded packing and labeling!

I use the 3 day auction. Used to use BIN but a lower start price is more appealing. I never use a reserve either-I start at a little below the lowest price I'd like to accept and hope for the best. I like my auctions to finish on a Sunday evening as then I can post on Monday-keeps everyone happy.
