Holiday payment through paypal

Hi I am paying for an apartment this week and the owner has given me the total to pay in euros and sterling, i am paying through paypal and hope someone can tell me if i should pay in sterling or euros?
I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.

If the owner has given you a figure in Sterling then that is what I would use to pay.
Do you know and trust the owner?
The reason that I ask is that when using paypal to pay something like apartment rentals, you have no cover under their buyer protection, so if the holiday fell through or the apartment wasn't as it was described, you wouldn't be able to get paypal to refund you.0 -
She comes highly recommended and she has given me the total in both euros and sterling, leaving it up to me i guess i just wondered if there was any reason to pay in euro or sterling ie better rate etc.

The £ is strong against the Euro at the moment, so I'd pay in sterling, apartment would work out cheaper!!!
