Fridge Thermostat

Hi, Can anyone tell me if it is a big job to replace a thermostat on a fridge.
Could an electrician do this or is it a job only for a refridgeration engineer.

It's dead simple, a competent DIYer can do it, not much different than wiring a plug, UNPLUG THE FRIDGE FIRST

If you know the make and model of the fridge do a search on Google for the part number of the thermostat. You might be able to pick up the part on eBay

Which one you need depends on what sort of thermastat you've got, eg whether its got automatic defrost.

did one last year. dead simple. and cheap!
