Not only am I bit late with this (I run ours from sat-fri as its the only time I can get ideas out of OH without starting WWIII) but ours is a bit of a jumble this week! I'm trying to make us stick to some sort of plan, mostly for my own sanity!

    Saturday (yesterday): chicken fajitas
Sunday: Chicken and mushroom pie, chips and mushy peas
Monday: fish in buttery cheese sauce with new pots and veg
Tuesday: jacket potatos with any filling that's in the cupboard
Wednesday: LO honey and mustard chicken with rice or new pots and veg for OH, I'm out at my friends who not only colours my hair but feeds me too!
Thursday: Beef stew with dumplings (frozen pizza on standby for picky OH)
Friday: Probably some form of takeaway or meal out as my mum and her partner are here, if not it'll be quorn pasta bake with garlic ciabatta.

  • Boodle - You mentioned in a previous post that your girls drink Chai tea. Can I ask what it takes like? and can you have it with milk? Also is it caffeine free? I love tea but would like to try something different especially before bed, thanks.

I havent' posted for a couple of weeks but have been following the thread, will post later when I have planned this week.

Today I have defrosted a sc quorn/leek stew and will top with potato slices and grated cheese. DS will have a pizza with HM potato wedges and carrot sticks. That's as far as I have got :)

    Have a good day.

Hi Pixie :) Its just very weak tea made with all milk (usually sweetened soya milk) and with a little nutmeg. Basically I just dunk the tea bag in their cups of warm milk to give it slight pale colour ;) If I have some whipped rice cream in then I top with a swirl of that before dusting with nutmeg. Sometimes, I make it with Caro which my littlest calls her "coffee" and it is a hot drink made from rye and chicory and is caffeine free so is handy for me too, being pregnant. I buy Caro from the supermarket where it is with the malted drink powders.
