Is it a remortgage or a house move?
If the latter don't apply at your new address; this will hurt your credit score to the point of being declined unless you wait to apply for atleast 6~18 months after moving
This is mis-leading advice. I applied for an AMEX platinum card 3 months after moving (and confirming with the three CRAs that I was registered at my new house on the electoral register) and was accepted without issue.
However, you should apply for the card BEFORE you move as you won't be registered at your new house on the electoral register for a couple of months until the CRAs update their files after the council send them the info after you registering.0 -
£700 a month spent on it = £8,400 a year.
In the first year you'll get £244 cashback (with the 5% promotion), less the £120 annual fee = £124.
Thereafter, you'll receive £84 cashback, less the £120 annual fee, you'll be paying £36 a year for the card.
On the other hand, with the Aspire World with no annual fee, you'll earn £134 in the first year, then £54 thereafter.0
