I agree that once you get up there, you will sort of forget that everyone is there watching you. If you do fluff your vows, whats the worst that will happen? You will have a little giggle and then carry on.
I forgot what the registrar said part way through, and really had to concentrate to remember. No one noticed apart from my husband who gave me a big grin. It felt like a lifetime to remember what I was suppose to say, but you can't even notice it on the video, just seems like a pause for breath.
Oh and I also tripped over my dress a little (just stumbled), again I just laughed and carried on walking. Not the end of the world
Its such a wonderful day, don't let anything worry you because on the day none of it matters at all x0 -
I actually hope that I do fluff them, then at least we'll all have a good laugh and the tension will be broken. Luckily our priest is very funny and will make sure to include a little joke or two throughout the ceremony.
Like PinkPrincess, I'm far more worried about crying than messing up the vows.

I was more worried about crying and I'm naturally the sort to get wound up easily but I was so relaxed the whole day it was untrue. Not all people get a rehearsal, we didn't. But we wrote our own vows so we just read those, didn't have repeat registrar except for the legal declarations. I actually had to look away from DH at times as that was in danger of tipping me over emotionally so I looked at registrar at those points.0

Oh yeah the crying and tripping may also be a problem! Im highly emotional and clumsy. Thank goodness im not doing a speach and can relax after the service! I get so shakey even when i get nervous on a day to day basis, i was shaking like a leave when i told my parents we were engaged!0

I am also a little bit worried! I am not really one to be the centre of attention, my fianc! doesn't like it tho! I am worried I'll trip up tho, think I'll be holding on to my mum for dear life lol! Also, will probs have a few tears but I'm so worried I won't be able to control myself and only let it be a few haha. Our vicar has given us both copies of our vows and told us to read them aloud (alone!) a few times before so that on the day you don't get so overwhelmed with what you're actually saying. Whether it will help who knows.. Bit different in a room alone to a church with 80 people in lol!Married my wonderful husband on 8/9/12 :j0

Oh and now after reading Daisy70s post Ive remembered the really bad shaky left leg I get when Im nervous!! (I usually get this when Im driving and out of my comfort zone), but I do occasionally get it in other circumstances!!
Im hoping that once I walk in the room and see oh all these these will be forgotten!!
My OH WILL do this lol. We got the wording from the registrar and every time he reads through it he says 'awful'. It's now become a standing joke so I know if he does it on the day I will just burst out laughing!
Wasn't nervous until we had our rehersal with the registrar this week, but we have asked if we can keep things as short as possible as we both hate public speaking and being centre of attention.0 -
Princess Diana muddled up the order of Charles' names - in front of millions of people! Don't worry - you're going to be the bride - almost anything you do is going to be cooed over and chuckled about and just part of the happy memories of the day.0

I'm what you could say an emotional male (I blame two emotional parents), so I have no hope of keeping it together but then if it didnt mean something to me to be in the situation I think there is something wrong. People just show it in different ways. Me, I'll be a blubbery mess, but I cant wait
