I'm really worried too. I always freak out in front of an audience, any audience and it's the vows and walking down the aisle I am panicking over as I hate being the centre of attention. We're only taking 16 people to the ceremony too. :(

I think I'll be ok as you get to hear them once at the rehersal I think, and then you only have to repeat one line at a time anyway :)

Just stay calm and focus on your h2b :)

My H2B has threatened to say, 'I take you Rachel!' :rotfl:

Don't worry about things like that, embrace them! If you mess up your lines it will give you a funny story to tell later. It's only your friends and family who are there, n they are not going to judge. (well they have no right!)

I was more petrified about walking down the aisle incase i tripped over and i didnt like the fact that all the attention would be on me. I was so nervous and shaking that much i felt pysically sick!! X you will be fine. As soon as you see your hb2 keep your eyes on him and you will be ok. Do the same when saying your vows and it does help by having your back slightly turned to everyone rather than standing on your side (if you know what i mean) xx

Well... Frankly i was sh**ing myself when it came to leaving the house. We done things slightly differend and had a first look which was great, calmed my nerves right down. I am a very nervous speaker and also hate being centre of attention however... Once you walk down the aisle and set eyes on your handsome groom you will be fine. You won't fluff your lines you'll be absolutely fine :D

My only tips would be to have a glass of water/lemonade before you walk down the aisle or you'll have a dry mouth :) And try and walk slowly, i practically ran for the first few steps and my dad pulled me back ha ha :D

Can honestly say I didn't really notice the "audience" at all during the ceremony - was so focused on my beautiful bride, everything else kinda faded away :)

I wasn't particularly nervous but our Registrar was so nice that I think I would have coped even if I'd been bricking it.

We chose to do our pre-chat together, but if I'd be alone I would have been fine. That minute or two gave me the chance to calm myself down.

During the ceremony she got us to repeat everything in 3 word chunks. We were giggling by the end because it seemed so slow :D It doesn't matter if the whole room hears - only the registrar needs to hear you, oh, and your HTB of course!

The ceremony was my favourite part of the whole day, which was unexpected. I hope you really enjoy yours too :)

I didn't mess up my lines but the registrar did:D

My legs were shaking so badly, my sister (sitting behind me) was getting ready to catch me:rotfl:

Yes, I'm terrified of walking up the aisle and saying the vows!!! I am naturally quite a shy person anyway. I will insist on no microphones (quite a big church) - and even if only we can hear the vows being said, that's enough! Oh and I'm even more worried that I will cry!

Having said that, I am really looking forward to it as well :)

Im really nervous about walking down the aisle and saying my vows. Im terrifed I will trip over my dress, and worried that I will cry blub the whole way through my vows cos Ill be so happy!! or ill say awful wedded husband instead of lawful!:rotfl:

Oh and now after reading Daisy70s post Ive remembered the really bad shaky left leg I get when Im nervous!! (I usually get this when Im driving and out of my comfort zone), but I do occasionally get it in other circumstances!!

Im hoping that once I walk in the room and see oh all these these will be forgotten!!
