girlie weekend for 2 x nights

My friend and I have got 2 nights off as mums on Friday 1st and 2nd June and want a girlie weekend away in England. We are from the midlands, but will travel. Any ideas for locations and hotels please? Any offers out there? Many thanks :-)

I don't think you can go far wrong with a weekend in Liverpool.

I know a lot of people who have done it and loved it, so much to do and see.

Shop til you drop, loads of cafe bars, restaurants, clubs, museums etc

Know a few who have stayed at the staybridge suites on the Albert dock ( part of Holiday inn ). They are really nice apartments with kitchens etc, should be good and reasonable.

Other one is Jurys inn on the Albert dock. There are hundreds of hotels in Liverpool, Just keep away from the Adelphi hotel unless you want to stay in Squalor !

As above and Liverpool as a major city is very small for tourists and everything is almost within about a mile square (albert dock to paddys wigwam and moorfeilds to china town.

Have a look at the following on expedia

liner hotel ( central next door to Lime st station )
Hard days night hotel ( beatles inspired )
Radisson blu ( on pier head, near albert dock, short walk into town)
Hope st hotel ( boutique, near cathedrals, walk down hill to city, great pub nearby though, Philharmonic(( Go into the mens toilets, amazing ! lol )))
Marriot cuty centre ( couldn't be any more central, may be a bit noisy though )
Mount pleasant apts ( short walk into city centre, less than 5 mins, near university )

All of them look good and have vacancies for 1 june checking out 2 june, from £75.

Liverpool is quite small everything nearly within walking distance and people great. Has more culture and sights to see than most other north west places.

Used to live in Liverpool, great place, loads to do
