And yes the valuation amount was the same as the offer i made.
This is important. Basically they are not saying that the work must be done now and is affecting the value of the property. It would not stop your mortgage being advanced for the amount you wish to pay. So you don't have a case.
And, for the record, 'buy to let' is a recognised term, I've never heard of 'let to buy'. And if you are planning to rent a house out then you do know that there are various things you need to do, legally, in relation to that? You have read up on this area as well, haven't you?
I think at one point property ownership was 'easy' money. It's not now, really, really not.0 -
