Hi, I've done the budget spreadsheet, very useful indeed, have identified a few things and already changed my home insurance provider and done a deal with broadband.
My question is, how do I move forward with this on a monthly basis, comparing what I am aiming to spend with what I actually spend? a spreadsheet page for each month with all the categories?
How do people do this? Would appreciate people's views.

I dunno if this Will help but i find one of the best ways to keep on top of what Im spending is to use cash. I draw out my budget at the start of the week in cash. It then makes me think twice before buying those little indulgences because i know that if i spend it all by Wednesday, then Im up the creek until the end of the week.0

I log all my transactions on a spreadsheet against categories (e.g. car, home etc), this way I can see exactly where my money is going and how much of my budget I have spent.Learn to speak Norfolk:
Translations: Naarfok = Norfolk, Narridge = Norwich, jargon = like running, but slower, cooo = queue, how're yer gettin arn = Norfolk greeting, on the huh = Something being uneven.0
