campaign to ban artificial additives

grrrr! i hate sunshine yellow. why are there so many nasty yellows? there are natural yellows that can be used. lots of colours cause asthma in me, give hubby migraine and send spud round the bend. we're picky about what we buy but people always give spud easter eggs with nasty little jelly sweets, and birthday parties are a nightmare. i've noticed more and more sweets in the supermarkets without azo dyes recently, not only asda and tescos own sweets but i even bought some jelly snakes recently (bassetts i think?) and they're yummy, lol!

Thanks for this... I'm becoming more and more aware of the nasties in our food!
Hubbie seems to have insider knowledge on everything having studied chemical engineering; however his stance on asking is always 'It's better that you don't know!!!'
