:T Carrot cake would also look nice baked in this tin - it's very moist and moreish.
Here's the reicpe for anyone who's interested:
8 oz self raising flour
2 tsp baking powder
5 oz brown sugar
2 eggs
3 - 4 carrots (grated)
1/2 pkt walnuts (chopped)
100 ml cooking oil
handful of sultanas
Mix together and bake at 180 or 350 for 40 - 50 mins
Topping 1 tub philadelphia and heaps of icing sugar (sieved) mix and spread on top - delicious.0 -
Upside down cake! Pineapple is the normal fruit, but peaches would look very pretty placed in the ring tin.
You could maybe use it as a terrine dish for a trout or salmon terrine if you like savouries,or want something impressive for a party:D .line with cling film strips to help get it out though.;)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

mmmmmmmmmmmm lots of lovely suggestions, I will have to be careful over what measurements I use though as Addiscomber mentioned it's quite huge!!
I'll update when I've baked something LOL

I bought one of those Bundt tins from Ikea as I'd been looking for one for ages that wasn't too expensive. Used it once but its gone out of shape and the springy side bit now doesn't fit round the base and tighten up so its useless as a cake tin as any mixture would just leak out everywhere
Hope you have better luck with yours - anyone else had this problem? Bit of a false economy it seems..........0
