  • I've done online surveys for years, the best one I've found to be is globaltestmarket - even if you dn't fit the criteria you'll still get some points. With them it normally takes me about 3 months to get to the cash in point - 1000 points which depending on the $ to £ exchange rate will give you about £25. Globaltestmarket send me on average 5 surveys a week!!

I've had no problems with lightspeed since I joined them in December - up to £15 in Amazon vouchers now.

Another decent one is valuedopinions.com - they send loads out.

As for Ciao, I write on there but delete all surveys as I'm always cut off at the 25% mark!

Thanks I shall give globaltestmarket a go. I get a few emails from them...didn't know they were ligit. I think I might have signed up through pigsback or similar to get other points.

The one I hate is testandvote. Been a member for a year, have a measley 9000 points, and get regular surveys but I've not passed a single ones criteria yet.
  • I've got fed up with one or two asking for loads of info and then telling me I wasn't eligible - I started sending them invoices for my time . Haven't got anything back yet - but it made me feel better!!

I should have added Testandvote to my list - I get loads from them and manage to get throw them. My bug bare with them is that they stopped doing Amazon Vochers (- I save all vouchers for Xmas - Santa shops at Amazon in our house lol) and the only way I can get them -the other vouchers are rubbish is to collect ipoints and a far lower rate then you used to get an Amazon Voucher for grrrrrrr.

Like a lot of people here, I've found doing surveys a waste of time for the pittance paid. I too object to giving personal details and then being told I don't qualify for that survey. However, there's a few that have been mentioned on this thread that I havent joined but sound a better bet, so maybe I'll try them out.
Interesting thread - thanks for starting it!

My TNS I still got a partial reward for part completing a one today which I was ok with, have had a lot with similar don't fit criteria, but the annoying bit I find is that the questions asked are on my profile do they ask all that for nothing?!
One day I might be more organised...........

The reason why they ask a lot of questions which are on your profile is so that they know you are who you say you are. They'll even ask the same questions at the end of the survey as those at the beginning to ensure you're consistent.

I've qualified for 5 out of 5 for MyTNS in the last 7 weeks, but they haven't credited me with any points yet. That could just be a long lead time issue. They did give me 50 Nectar points for my registration, so I have hope.

I've just sent a polite email to Test and Vote because I got refused tonight for a survey which I seemed to qualify for, only to be told that the number of participants had been reached...I had only just received the survey an hour before, and the primer questions they asked could have been construed as a survey in itself. To be fair though, they have sent some fairly interesting surveys, although I won't recommend anyone until they pay cold cash in a timely fashion.

I think its all about managing your expectations. If you expect to have a nice lttle earner for medium amount of effort you'd be disappointed, whereas if you expect to have to actually spend loads of time for anot a lot of return that would be about right I reckon. I do the surveys while I am watching/listening to the telly, so I wouldnt be doing anything else anyway, so its not wasting my time really, as I was already wasting it. Instead its actually earning a few pennies when I would have otherwise not earned anything.

I reckon I get turned down for about half. And I probably only respond to half because I dont check my email often enough and often they are closed already. I do Ciao, Valued Opinions and Lighspeed and about 3/4 of the way to vouchers with each of them ,this has taken a few months, So its not exactly mega bucks but its better than a kick in the teeth. Having read this thread I will sign up for YouGov and globaltestmarket next!

Yeah, me too. I dump most surveys in the spam folder now.

They may not be that time consuming, but when you struggle to find half na hour to amuse yourself/answer emails etc., it's gets on your nerves to waste half of it pointlessly.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.
  • Not strictly a survey thing but another site I'm a member of is https://www.shopandscan.com. - run by TNS. Basically I scan the bar codes on all my shopping and once a week download the scans to them - sounds a hasle but takes me about 5 mins to download and I scan the stuff as I'm putting it in the cupboard. For your first scans downloaded they give you 10000 points which is the equivilant of a £10 voucher -loads to chose from. Then every week they give you 1000 for downloading your scans. At Xmas they did either double or treble points for 3 weeks plus they send out the odd survey -and no you don't get cut out half way throw lol I've been doing it since October and now have £60 of vouchers

It is by invite only - I got an email via I think testandvote but two of my mates just emailed them and asked to join might be worth a go if anyone is interested.
