surveys bullcrap.

ok i signed up for lots of paid surveys blah blah,

but when i come to do one i get about half way through and it says `sorry you dont meet the criteria for completing this survey`.

this is bull pants, it gets most of my info and then cuts me off without paying.

im not doing anymore cos its just a big time waster.

anyone else had this problem?

I've been having that problem recently... think its because of my age group.

This does happen quite a bit, but then nowabout half the time it doesn't. I think if you don't answer the survey soon after it was sent it also hapens more as they've already had all the replies. It is annoying.

however, I've continued as the more you fill out, the more you're sent it seems and it's free money to me! THe Ciao ones are worst for me.

Hoping you get some good ones soon

  • I had problems with lightspeed too and they did not send me a voucher that I had won. I have not done them for a long time. I found I was getting lots of junk mail too, through the post and in my inbox.

Think about it logically... your not always giong to meet all their criteria.

Just because you fall in to the right age, location, family size brackets they want, there is stacks of criteria they want and if you dont match, they simply dont take it further.

eg, 23yr old female, from london, no repsonsibilities, super high income, no family etc would have a very different set of answers to a 23yr old stay at home single mother from london with 3 children

but they both match the sex/age/location filters.

    Good answer, well put!
Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

I have had this problem too - they have my answers and use my time then decide that I am not applicable. Ciao seemed to be the worst.

Gave up in the end and the small return isn't worth my precious time.

Whilst what you say is correct they go a lot deeper and further than that. I had one recently that asked me my opinions on load sof brands etc etc - spent 10 /15 mins doing it to be told I 'didn't fit'.

I think they will use that information anyway but got out of paying me for it !! This isn't a one-off, I would say it happens about 65% of the time.

If your opinions on brands dont match their criteria, they arent going to waste their time taking you further.

They might be looking people who hate daz but love surf etc and you answered the other way round.

Its just one of those things, if you dont match, you dont match, deal with it and look out for the next one.
