share price software

I'm looking for a piece of software, desktop widget or website etc that I can use to display prices for just my shares, up to about 25 companies.
I can do this through my broker website but I have to log in and it times out every few minutes.
It needs to be a freebie and preferably I'd like to be able to add details of my holdings (bought price and quantity) to track my portfolio.
Can anyone think of anything?
