My daughter passed her driving test late last year. She managed 100% in her theory test and 73% in her hazards perception test (and passed her practical first time) :j

She googled 'free theory test online', 'free online hazards perception test' and variations of the same phrases, and used an awful lot of them. Some were better than others, but she can't remember which were particularly good.

She also used free apps on her ipod.

Whenever she got a question wrong, she wrote it on a post it note and stuck it to her bedroom wall. Every day she would read the questions and try to answer them again. Obviously, some questions she answered more easily than others, so she spent a lot of time going through those she found more difficult.

It might not be a case of trying just one website, even if recommended by someone. You could try several online sites for free, getting a wider range of questions. Don't restrict yourself.

    Good luck :)

Another good thing about these free test sites is that you can keep your knowledge up-to-date after you pass your driving test. It's a good idea to one every so often throughout your driving career.

The post it notes drove me mad - thank goodness she confined them to the walls of her own bedroom! She already has a lot of photos on the wall space between shelves, but at one point you couldn't tell what colour wallpaper she had :rotfl:. It worked, though - and this is the way she revised for her GCSEs and A levels.

I do find post its handy myself. You can imagine how much I spend on them when they are on offer :o

There is a software called TheoryTest Pro which I have found installed in the computers at the local library for free access. I think lot of the local authorities subscribe to this. The theory questions I have found to be very good- it remembers what you got wrong on the last attempt! Also all your results and shown as graphs and scores. There are HP clips a s well though the quality is not that good.
