Ebay feedback now has my name on it! Argh

Ok, it's not really a huge drama but one of my buyers thanked me in their feedback using my first name. Am I being daft about it? Is there any way to get it removed.
I'm sure I'm being silly but I try my best to keep my personal info secure. What do you think?

Someone did that to me a while ago, I did email and ask ebay if it could be removed but got the standard 'feedback cannot be removed' response. In the end I decided that a positive was a positive and it soon disappeared off the first page of feedback and was probably never seen again anyway, so I wouldn't worry.

Then they need to read their own feedback removal policies.
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/feedback-abuse-withdrawal.html
Taken from that page:
Feedback that meets any of the circumstances below is feedback abuse and both the rating and the comment may be subject to removal.
- The feedback comment contains personal identifying information about another member, including real name, address, phone number, or email address.
An example given on that page of Feedback Abuse:
A member includes another member’s name or phone number in a feedback comment. eBay will remove the feedback upon request of the seller.0 -
You really don't need to worry about your first name appearing.
Unless, of course, your name is actually 'Mookybargirl Smith' in which case you might be indentifiable from your first name alone.0 -
hehe this happens to my mum all the time, drives her crazy!!!0

Exactly what I was thinking, plus what's to say it's your real first name. I think you feel weird seeing your name there, but in reality I don't think anyone who see's it will think twice. Don't worry about it.0 -

Mooky to her friends!
Personally, I wouldn't worry. Like soolin says, it'll disappear of the front page soon enough and, in reality, when most of us shop on ebay we might click on the feedback section but how many times do we really read "A+++++++++++++++++++++ Excellent item! All the way from Hong Kong in two days!"?

Contact ebay again and refer them to their own policy as posted by Nightswimmer above.
I would not bother me much but then my ebay user name is my name in the form “first name middle initial surname” as in “johncsmith” so I am hardly Mr Anonymous anyway.
To be honest I now wish I had used an anonymous moniker but I have not had any problems so far. I suppose I could change it but the current name will still be there.0 -
I had my full name and telephone number posted once, but just left it there0

If my phone number were included in feedback I'd ask for it to removed. Though I generally avoid making even my first name public on the internet (e.g. I've never posted it here or on other forums I visit) I wouldn't be worried if just my first name were displayed, and wouldn't bother pursuing it further with eBay, though I'd be a bit annoyed about their apparently ignoring their own policy. My first name is neither common nor rare: I might feel differently if I had a very unusual name.0 -
The way I see it, all your infomation is available on the internet and if someone really wants to they will find it, so why bother trying to hide it?
What could someone do though through knowing your name and telephone number?0
