Installing a 3KW built in oven

Hi,
I've just bought a single built in 3kw oven with a standard 3 pin plug attached to replace a single hard wired oven that has stopped working.
This existing oven is hard wired direct to a dedicated socket on the wall above the hob.
My question is do I remove the plug from my new oven and hard wire it to the wall socket or do I remove the outlet, fit a socket and plug in the oven?
Thanks,
Specs

I did exactly was bengalknights has suggested and it has worked for me. Replacing the existing way of connection to a wall socket.
