just saw a family being interviewed on BBC three, they had Olympic park tickets and once in, the son who plays basketball queued for 4 hours to buy the 5 pound for adults tickets and 1 pound for kids, they were all excited but it made me a little mad he had to queue for 4 hours when he could have been exploring the park instead.

totally with you sellingmysoul, there are orbit tickets for sale now but you need an Olympic park ticket too!

I visited the Park on Monday and the queues at the ticket office inside (which I assume were doing returns) were endless. A wait of a couple of hours doesn't suprise me at all. But I echo everyone's suggestion of going all day. I past security at 3.10 (after leaving Bond Street at 2.30), my event was at 6.30 and I would have loved to have had another 2 hours to wander around first. Do wear sensible shoes though.
