I am 99% sure it's free to call a 00800 from my Virgin Landline but I just phoned 151 and spoke to an American customer adviser who insisted it's not free.

Can someone confirm that it's free to call a 00800 number using my Virgin Landline?

    00800 is an international freephone number. It is free from any landline, including Virgin. The person you spoke to was wrong.
