Paypal sending limit?????

can all you lovely people on the ebay board help me with a query?

i was going to purchase an item on ebay tonight but when i went to complete the sale, paypal informed me that i had exceeded my sending limit. now i have never ever come across this before and couldn't find much help on the paypal site. the transaction was only for £20 and i have over £40 sitting in paypal from a sale earlier in the week, so what's the problem? all it would let me do was go to an option to add a bank account.

helpful suggestions please cos i have no idea

i'm now unwillinbg to even bid on anything ending soon incase i can't get paypal to work

You will need to complete PayPal's expanded use process in order to send anymore funds.

Amendment to the Payments (Sending, Receiving and Withdrawals) Policy
    Notice Date: 8 February 2007
    Effective Date: 8 March 2007
Beginning 8 March 2007, the PayPal (Europe) Ltd. Payments (Sending, Receiving and Withdrawals) policy will be amended to reflect that the verification process for UK account holders will now only involve a user to set up their bank account via direct debit, complete the ‘random deposit’ process and if you are a Premier or Business account holder, provide supplemental business information. UK verified users will still require to complete the ‘Expanded Use Process’ to lift their withdrawal limit
