Changing prices on multi-quantity listing

Times are hard and I want to increase the price of items on some of my listings.
Is it better to cancel the listings and start a new one - means I will lose my purchase history but on the other hand new buyers won't be able to see what price was paid previously...

If you relist you won't lose the sales history unless you change the condition item specific and possible the title, the rest can be changed so it will still show in the same place in the results.

The number purchased will disappear from the new listing and I suppose it depends on the item as to whether seeing previous sales had been made would affect buyer confidence.

I change prices regularly, both up and down, and no one has commented on others buying at a different price.

Dont relist, just change the price and save your sales history and ranking.
