How accurate is Zoopla?

It's not accurate. They are showing our sold house price at £100k in 2008 when we paid £270k for it. I contested it but as they get their data from the Land Revenue they cannot change it apparently. We bought the house off my deceased mother in law so it was part inheritance. We are trying to sell our house and I am sure that it goes against us at the moment.
In the main, the Sold Prices are accurate, and consistent with other property price websites that also get a data feed from Land Registry or Registers of Scotland.
You paid £270k for part of the house, and inherited the rest?
Or the house was valued at £270k and you paid £100k, inheriting the rest?0 -
Just had a look at Zoopla's property values for my street, and apparently the house 3 doors down is worth £650,000 and the house over the road is worth £230,000. Now I don't know if the first one has solid gold fixtures and fittings, but from the outside they are identical. I think someone's been messing about with the 'refine estimate' settings.0

It's not.
In fact no property website can possibly hope to be accurate on the value of your house. Only on the sold prices0
