Contacting the HASC: Your Feedback Wanted

100 Posts
The Navy Command Headquarters’ accommodation policy staff, who have been, and continue to, closely monitor the SFA allocations service provided by DIO Ops Accommodation as it transitions from the Housing Information Centres (HICs) to the Housing Allocations Service Centre (HASC), have asked us for feedback from Naval Service families of their recent experiences of the HASC - both good and bad.
Whilst HASC telephone answering times have generally improved in recent weeks, we are still receiving reports of long waiting times and, more worryingly, reduced levels of service when compared to those delivered previously by the staff at the HICs. We would like to hear of your experiences of the HASC by email to: .We will ensure that your concerns and comments are passed on.

"The very latest data the NFF has is that the Plymouth line will be re-routed up to staff at Aldershot at the end of this week.
I think that it is important to acknowledge that contacting the Plymouth ‘option’ has been very difficult under the HIC to HASC transition. NFF and the Chain of Command have repeatedly asked for DIO to support those families who are trying to engage with allocation staff for the South West region. DIO have confirmed that the work to route calls for the South West into the HASC staff at Aldershot will be complete by today, and by Monday 28th May all calls will be handled by the HASC team. Within the HASC system an ‘overspill’ arrangement has been put in place so that any call in the queue will be picked up as soon as possible."
Keep checking our website: www.nff.org.uk for updates on the transition.
Kind regards,
The NFF Team
