Just seen the new Capital One card mentioned in weekly email as an easy-to-get cashback card.
As someone who isn't eligible for the best cashback cards (good credit score but low income), I currently do all my spending on a Tesco Credit Card and convert the Clubcard points I get into rewards, (usually) tripling the value.
Excuse my lack of mathematical prowess, ... can anyone tell me which basically has the most value: the tesco rewards I currently earn, or the new 0.5% cashback Capital One credit card?
Thanks in advance

If your Clubcard Credit Card gives you 1 point per £4 spent (not all do, older cards are 1 point per £2 spent), that is equivalent to 0.25% cashback if you spend the Clubcard vouchers in store. If you're tripling them with rewards this equates to 0.75% cashback.
However, with the Clubcard CC you only get 1 point per £4 spent per transaction - if you spend £3.99 you'll get no points at all, and if you spend £7.99 you'll only get 1 Clubcard point, so you may find you earn less than the numbers would suggest.0 -
