Company Car Insurance- does it affect private?
Buggles

My boyfriend has been asked to drive the vans at his place of work. Before he agrees to this, he'd like to know something.
If he was to have an accident in the company van, would this affect his own private car insurance?

Yes, it impacts his driving history for his personal policies. It doesnt impact his NCD on his personal policy0

As above he will have to declare he had an accident in another vehicle even if no claim has been made.
If he doesnt and its recorded on the company insurance your personal insurance can find out.
If you need to make a claim on your personal policy you may find they cancel your cover and refuse to payout.
Just read all the posts on here where people failed to disclose information and their insurers cancelled their policy.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
