RBS / Mint Credit Card PPI Re-Claim

Has anyone else found that RBS drag their feet over the claim. I am at 8 weeks since sending the form, I rang to see what was happening I was told they have no information because they are still investigating and I should hear in 1-2 weeks, 'REALLY' what exactly does this 'INVESTIGATING' entail? I applied on-line for the card the PPI appeared I didn't ask for it ???? I have had 2 other successfull claims with other companies 1st sorted and settled in 2 weeks the 2nd in 4 weeks. Very frustrated!!!

They took 8 weeks with mine but settled on the basis that they had effectively run out of time so were upholding my complaint. I still consider my reasons were valid although I will never know if they agreed. Sometimes it can work in people's favour, so I won't be overly negative in your situation.0

Thanks for the reply, When I was on the phone the man said the 8weeks is a guide and it can sometimes take longer. I thought 8 weeks were the maximum???0
