How do I issue refund if no issue refund button?

Buyer has opened a case for INR and I have tried to send a refund but this is the only transaction in my paypal that doesnt have an issue refund button in the detail of the transaction.

How else can i issue refund so it shows in the case that I have refunded?

In the ebay Resolution centre, there is an option to issue a full refund to the buyer in there, rather than from the paypal screen.

I had the same issue a while back, but I think the case has long since gone so I can't check the exact place where the link is.

I originally tried to do it from the resulation centre but it said there was a problem with my paypal account and it wouldnt do it.

There is money in the account so dont think there is a problem with the account, it seems to be this transaction.

Oh, in the paypal resulation centre it says I have no open cases?

Not sure what is going on.

Is the ebay case showing as "awaiting buyer response" or words to that effect? If I recall, I sent a message to the buyer saying i would refund straight away, then as soon as I sent the message, the options (full refund, partial refund etc) vanished until they replied saying "thank you".

eBay do like to over-complicate a simple task.
