How do you get student loan if not entitled to one?? ie studying nursing diploma

Im unable to get a loan from a bank as im a student studying for a diploma in nursing so i get a bursary. This doesnt entitle to get a student loan through university but i thought i could still get a normal loan through barclays who i have an account with but because i have a student account they wont give me a loan!! argghh Does anybody have any advice :mad:

try opening a current account with barclays alongside your student account and then apply for a loan through that
or just get a loan from a different bank or company- there's a lot of loan companies out there- some good some bad
