I have changed isp from aol to bt.
I have connected the bt home hub to my main computer with ehternet cable.
My laptop is wireless and is working fine with bt .
My main computer is saying it is connected but when i search for say money saving expert it brings it up in the browser but when i click on it it doesn't go to the web page.
Do i need to uninstall aol for it to work properly.

Does the main computer also have a wireless connection?

On the home hub, look to see which socket you plugged the ethernet cable into (1-4) and check that the corresponding LED on the front is on.

What IP address are you getting on the main computer? Does it start with 192.168? or 169.254?
How do I add a signature?

I would remove all traces of A O Hell first and then download HijackThis and post its log here .

I remember the days when it was virtually impossible to use the words 'remove' and 'AOHell' in the same sentence without letting out a blood curdling scream.
