Just a quick hello and thank you! Have started comping this week for the first time and you guys are an inspiration! Started looking at creative ways to make some money up to pay for removals next month (ebaying car boot etc) and have achieved that (hooray!) and somehow ended up reading this thread...so here I am and ready to comp!0

Has anybody won any prizes with it? I am a newbie and a little nervous:eek:0

Hello don't be nervous. Rafflecopter is pretty straight forward, and gives you the opportunity to gain extra entries into a competition. You'll find Rafflecopter on alot of blog competitions. You'll often be asked to like the company/person on facebook to gain an entry, tweet about the giveway on twitter, and so on. If you scroll down to the end of the entry methods there's often a link for you to go, and see exactly how they work.
Edited to add link to help you http://blog.rafflecopter.com/2011/07/how-to-enter-rafflecopter-giveaways/, and while I've yet to win via this method lots of people have.0 -
hmmm, on hols atm... But reading the thread re the Skip button on Site Feedback, makes me think that could be a better place to discuss/propose a possible subforum for Compers Chat and Questions???
Will try and find some older posts to C&P over to there...My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly
Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx0 -
Ok, I have started a thread there... Asking about a possible Question and Chat sub forum... Hopefully I haven't stepped on anyones toes, or offended anyone by starting it, as I only have the best intentions and goodwill towards our Comps Forum , xxx

Thanks Bosch, I appreciate that (not).
Did anyone else get the email? And then the email saying they were trying to recall the original email?
Pah.0 -
yes I got it twice but there is no way of them recalling the email so not sure why they even bothered sending an email to say they were trying toWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

Everyone's email address?
(I think)
This is a good reason to have a separate comping email that is not name or gender specific
