Good luck with it, I agree contacting IPM is the way to go if they don't play fair though

Well they have now come back to me stating their was a glitch on their page that called a close to the competition early (so someone by accident typed that is was closing that day, I don't think so) and have referred to their T&C's which meant it was ending at 17:30 yesterday, the winners had already been announced by then, so that doesn't ring true either.

They are now offering me free product(S) which I don't want, I just want fairness, I have no problems with the person who won, but I do have a problem that my recipe is exactly the same (apart from using their brand name in the curry paste) mine was entered first and doesn't win, but the exact same recipe is entered later and does win. Hardly seems fair.

Yes, it stated it was closing at 17:30 yesterday according to their T&C's but they amended them and on Tuesday stated tomorrow (Wed) they would announce the winners and Wed stated it was the last day to enter. According to ASA by doing this under the CAP they have amended their T&C's, so the updated announcement is what is to be adhered to.

I see they have responded on their fb page, they have messed up and now need to do the right thing. Hope you get it sorted xx

They did and they have messaged me with an apology and said it shouldn't have happened and they had some technical problems with their page. They have offered to send me some tickets for the festival along with some of their products which I am happy with.

So a big thank you for the advice on here and for some input I believe onto their fb page. It's very much appreciated. Just got to message the person who posted the comp because whilst it's technically not a confirmed win, it's with their link that it all eventually (fingers crossed) turned out ok from!

Hi All,

Just letting you know I haven't forgot about posting Prize Puzzles and TV Puzzles. TV Puzzles is not showing online yet so I don't think there’s much point posting until its live incase its gets bumped and disrupts the compers working from the top of the board.

Regarding Prize Puzzles there is printing error on one of the crosswords and the down clues are from another comp and don’t fit and its impossible to work out the prize word. There’s another member on MSE who also buys the mags and his magazine has the same error. I have emailed on Wednesday but have not heard back and have also Pmd the person on here who mentioned they worked for the company but he hasn’t replied either. The comps don’t close until 26th June so will wait a little bit longer before posting and will try again to communicate with them.

i'm sorry but not been able to finish the mags this week
if anyone wishes to post the mags i usually do please feel free to do so
& due to certain things i'm not going to able to post/do them anymore
i've enjoyed posting them over the years on here & seeing lots of winners from them :T:T:T & it's been great fun :j:j
but am sure there's lots of peeps on here that also do the mags & will be willing to post them in my place
please feel free to contact a BG if anyone wishes to open a new puzzler.com thread, am still going to be around mse but just not doing the puzzles/mags anymore
