Hi
It is coming to that time of year for the wonderful Amex companion flight...the problem is I am £1k short of the spend required for the year. Does anyone have any superb ideas for spending the extra money needed without spending it!? For example paying council tax in advance etc rather than buying an unneeded treat!

Sorry, I don't know what this Amex companion flight deal is ??
...but what about purchasing gift vouchers for shops that you will be buying from in the next few months ?? Where do you do your weekly shopping- do they do gift vouchers ??
