Grout scum on new worksurface

Any advice really welcome. We have a new worktop in our kitchen - black rough effect. We got out tiles put on and although worktop protected some grout got onto worktop. It was washed last night and I assumed it was a matter of another washdown today and it would be ok. But i have washed with neat washing up liquid, stardrops, mix of bicarb and bleach, And still when the worktop dries there is a white scum on it.
Any idea what else i can try please.
Many thanks

Have you tried just rinsing and rinsing with just warm water.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Use a non-scratch scoured and warm soapy water. That will bring it off.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

Stop washing it. All you are doing is creating another film when it dries and it will take months. Let it dry completely and then buff it off with a dry cloth - yes dry. Cheese cloth works very well. If you've got a stubborn lump then yes, as Phil suggests, use a pan scourer but still use it dry!

Thanks for all your replies -
McKneff - it was washed about 3 times last night with plain water
Phil99 - I have used a pan scourer with the above mixtures
Keystone - Think I will def go with your suggestion. Not looking at it again tonight - will buff in the morning and see how we go. No stubborn lumps just a white salty scum.0 -
Use some phosphoric acid. You can buy it in a hardware shop.0

Sorry to contradict you.

Don't you dare not on a worktop anyway - you'll take the surface off. An acidic cleaner is for removing cementatious grout stains from the surface of natural materials not for removing grout film which just buffs off as stated.

Oops yes of course you're right, I read the OP as grout smears on the tiles but re-reading it clearly states the worktop. Tired eyes! Sorry.0
